This is yesterday's picture, so I'm finally caught up! Well, until tonight when I need to post today's picture. :) I love how this turned out.

Day 46: Comfy Cozy
Hugo has already made himself at home. When Ashlyn woke up this day, she found him cuddled up reading one of her books!
Day 45: Welcome, Hugo!
Our Elf on the Shelf, Hugo, came to our house this day! He also brought Ashlyn her new ornament (I've always put a tag on her ornament that said "To Ashlyn From the Christmas Tree" like my parents did, but Hugo wanted to bring it this year).

Day 44: TTFN
Right before we left, we helped tie on some yellow ribbons on my in-law's fence. My brother-in-law is coming home from Afghanistan soon and these are in honor of those we have lost.
Day 43: Happy Thanksgiving!
We honestly didn't take a whole lot of pictures on Thanksgiving. But here is one of Aaron's Aunt Tammie and her new little grandbaby, Alanna (they totally stole our name... Ashlyn was almost Alanna and then we said that if we had a second kid and it was a girl, we'd name her Alanna... guess not now! lol).
Day 42: The Drop-Off? They're Taking Them To The DROP-OFF?!
This view is across the street from the little Country Store in Callaway Gardens, which happens to be where we chose to have breakfast (technically the Country Kitchen, but it's inside the Country Store). After breakfast we walked across the street to take pictures. We called it the drop-off, like in Finding Nemo.
And hey, Nemo had been there!

Day 41: Happy Anniversary, My Love
This day was Aaron's and my 5th wedding anniversary. ♥ We left Ashlyn with his parents and drove to Pine Mountain, GA. There were so many cool things I wanted to take pictures of on our way up there, but we didn't want to stop since it was already a 3 to 3 1/2 hour drive. But I did see this awesome bell next to a gas station we stopped at.
And here are a couple of pictures from the Christmas lights at Callaway Gardens.

Day 39: BOWS!
Well, I guess it's time to play catch up! I was running around like crazy so I'm just glad I ended up taking a picture this day. lol I took pictures of 3 of the bows this day, but only the reindeer one is the one I'm including in this bunch. :) I definitely need to get better pictures of them all, though.

38: More Baked Goods
I am always forgetting to take a picture until it's too dark outside and Ashlyn's asleep so I can't go find something. I really want to take some cool pictures and maybe play around with editing them so I need to plan ahead. :) But thankfully yesterday I made some chocolate chip/butterscotch chip cookies that I could take a picture of. They aren't my favorite (I'd prefer just chocolate chips) but Aaron and Ashlyn LOVE them!
Day 37: Jingle Bells
Here is one of my new Christmas bows. Ashlyn loved it and would keep shaking her head to hear the jingle bells. lol
Day 36: Anniversary Gifts
I finished up the anniversary gifts for my husband for our 5th year anniversary. At one point we were talking about what you're "supposed" to get the person for each year (like those modern and traditional lists). I mentioned it was the Disney year and he said no, it's the 5th year, so it's the E year. Well, I expanded on that joke and made 5 presents starting with A-E. You know, to catch up. :) Each letter was like a card he opened up with what the letter stood for (example: A is for... Almond Joy" and the reason why (example: because you bring joy into my life). And yes, I know it looks like Ashlyn did it, but it's hard to try and put it together while Ashlyn's running around me and Aaron comes home shortly after she goes down for quiet time. It's the thought that counts, right?

Day 35: Over the River and Through the Woods
We'll be seeing Ashlyn's Granny and Granddaddy soon and Ashlyn asks if we're going to see them about 10 times a day. So we made a countdown chain and she's super excited about it. My friend has done this for her son and he loved it so I thought we'd give it a shot. (Geez, Ashlyn's hair always looks crazy when it's not in a ponytail. lol)
Day 34: Gobble Gobble Gobble!
So I was running out of time and had no idea what to take a picture of so here it is, the turkey Ashlyn made at the library. :)

Day 33: A Trip To The Zoo
We took a bunch of great pictures when we went to the zoo today. Here's a couple of my favorites.
Aaron and Ashlyn:
Two lovey-dovey river otters. We had awesome pictures of the jaguars and giraffes and others, but otters (especially sea otters) are my favorite animals, so I had to include this one. :)

Day 32: Movie Night
We had our Winnie the Pooh (the new one) movie night this night. I was able to use our new Mickey glove plates and Mickey shaped bowl! Yay!

Day 30: Planning, Planning, Planning
I've been doing this challenge for a month now! Kinda cool. :) There are a ton of things coming up for the rest of the year. There's only 2 weeks until Thanksgiving! So I am planning on doing a lot of bow making in my downtime so I'm not rushing close to when I have to sell them. I am also selling cake pops so I am going to Michaels tomorrow to gather my supplies. In Sunday's paper there was a coupon for 25% off your entire purchase at Michaels, including sale items (some ribbon I need is on sale), and one of our grocery stores has cake mix buy-one-get-one-free so it's the perfect time to prepare. Aaron got down Bakerella's Cake Pops book for me to get some inspiration so it's now sitting on my craft table with my not-yet-complete list of things I need to get at Michaels. :)

Day 29: My Loves (Besides Ashlyn)
Ashlyn, Aaron, and I were sitting on the couch and Ali came to cuddle on the blanket that was lying on the arm of the couch by Aaron. I didn't get the shot I wanted because I distracted everyone by getting up to get the camera, but Ali was watching Aaron play on his Droid. :) It was really cute.

Day 28: Ashlyn Again
I thought Ashlyn looked super cute today. The picture doesn't do her justice because she does a weird smile sometimes when she gets her picture taken. :S But she had a braid in her hair and a cute bow and everything. Just cute. :)
Day 27: More Thanksgiving Decorations
I finally put a cute little printable in a frame and put a little craft I did with Ashlyn in front of it. I'm liking it. :)

Day 26: Passion For Dancing
I found a ballroom dancing competition on TV yesterday and that is something Ashlyn and I both love to watch. Ashlyn loves to dance and try to copy the ballroom dancers. Which is why Nickelodeon Dance (for the Wii - will be released tomorrow) is a possible Christmas present for her this year.
Day 25: Oops!
Okay, so, I didn't take a picture on day 25. I know, I know! But I am only allowing myself to keep going without starting over because I had a particular picture planned, but I unexpectedly got really sick and went to bed early. So I took the picture I wanted to take the next morning. Please forgive me! ;) Aaron bought a table for me to use at O2B Kids to sell hair bows and cake pops in December (it is awesome, actually, and will definitely be put to good use besides that, too) and I set it up so I could use it to make the bows. My Halloween flowers were still looking pretty so I used it to make my workspace cute. It needs some Goo B Gone or something because it's still sticky where the label was, but whatever. It's in our small foyer so it won't stay there forever, but it'll be awesome for when I'm working on a lot of bows.

Day 24: Ribbon!!!!
I went to Michaels today to get stuff to add to my stash so I can make new hair bows. I still need one or two things that I realized I needed once I got home, but I'm pretty excited to see how it all comes together. Here's one bundle that will eventually become a bow.

Day 23: Ashlyn Feet!
Okay, well, I love my little girl's feet. They are just so cute! So when she was wearing the bracelet she made at her princess class today as an anklet, I had to get a picture.

Day 22: Pumpkin Snickerdoodles
I almost forgot to take a picture today! Whoops! Thank goodness I happened to make a batch of really good pumpkin snickerdoodle cookies today.
These were incredibly fluffy with just the right amount of crunch on the outside from the cinnamon and sugar. When I asked Aaron how he liked them (I was still baking and hadn't had one when Aaron and Ashlyn had theirs) he got this concerned look on his face and said, "They taste like... the best cookie ever." lol
